Seal 22/231 TNT
Bahrain
This
is
a photo of my Seal 22/231 TNT reaching to the finish to win the Bahrain Yacht
Club 2005 Square Rig Race. I now know why we don't use PVC sails - or Square
Rigs! It looks horrible but it worked, and my sponsor was pleased.
Mylor at dusk - The marina is
very sheltered and has excellent facilities including a very good brasserie so
we'd recommend it to anyone cruising to the Fal.
Low tide at Truro - there is water for about 2
hours either side of HW but you get a nice secure berth alongside the quay on
some soft but not too smelly mud, right in the heart of the city. The trip up
river is memorable.
Jim reports 'I know in Western Australia a company called Hill
and Cameron built the Seal as well as the sorcerer and red witch boats (all
trailerable yachts 19-24 foot ) which were designed for our local waters ocean
conditions of a 20-30 knot afternoon seabreeze ( called the Fremantle doctor
because it cooled down the temperatures in Perth_

We have a charitable organisation in Australia called the good
Samaritan industries which is usually shortened to " good sammy's "
and use a seal as a logo hence the name of my yacht)
